Save any page to mymarks without leaving your browser.

Browser extension

The mymarks extension adds a toolbar button to your browser. Click it on any page to save the URL, edit the title, add tags, and set visibility — all without opening a new tab. Extensions are currently in beta and pending review on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons.

Chrome

Works in Chrome, Brave, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.

How to install — Chrome

1 Download and unzip mymarks-chrome.zip.

2 Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions.

3 Enable Developer mode using the toggle in the top-right corner.

4 Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.

5 The mymarks icon appears in the toolbar. Click it and enter your mymarks URL to get started.

How to install — Firefox

1 Download and unzip mymarks-firefox.zip.

2 Open Firefox and go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.

3 Click Load Temporary Add-on and select the manifest.json file inside the unzipped folder.

4 The mymarks icon appears in the toolbar. Click it and enter your mymarks URL to get started.

⚠ Temporary add-ons are removed when Firefox is closed. A signed release for permanent install is coming soon.

Bookmarklet

The bookmarklet is a small piece of JavaScript you save as a browser bookmark. Click it on any page and a small popup opens where you can save the URL with tags and a description — no extension install required. It works in any browser that supports bookmarks.

1 Log in and visit the bookmarklet page from your account menu.

2 Drag the + Save to mymarks button to your browser’s bookmarks bar.

3 Navigate to any page and click the bookmarklet to save it.

Can’t see the bookmarks bar? Chrome / Firefox / Edge: Ctrl Shift B — Mac: ⌘ Shift B — Safari: View → Show Favourites Bar.
